This unique and celebrated public building is designated as an historic landmark. The current phase includes a new protective skylight and refurbishment of the existing leaded glass skylight. Gran Kriegel architects were responsible for the both interior and exterior restoration of this 1939 courthouse in Queens, NY. Nine landmark warehouses were reconstructed and converted into 80 units of housing with ground floor retail space. Nationally renowned artists were engaged to carry out an elaborate sculptural program and the restoration of interior murals. Soldiers and Sailors Monument

Miscellaneous exterior and interior renovation to this Grand Army Plaza landmark. Spiral stairs on either side of the arch provide access for visitors and maintenance personnel to reach the roof. Visitor access is improved, parapet and roofing waterproofed, and interiors refinished. Structural supports for the rooftop sculpture are reinforced.
