Overview

Project planning (including site selection, test fits, building condition surveys, and feasibility studies) is a critical first step in any architectural project.

Feasibility studies examine whether or not proposed projects are possible, both in terms of technical concerns (high groundwater, correct zoning envelope, contaminated land) and economic terms (can the proposed work be completed within the proposed budget?). Careful observation and documentation clear the way for realistic planning, budgeting, and design.
