Nationally renowned artists were engaged to carry out an elaborate sculptural program and the restoration of interior murals. Soldiers and Sailors Monument

Miscellaneous exterior and interior renovation to this Grand Army Plaza landmark. Spiral stairs on either side of the arch provide access for visitors and maintenance personnel to reach the roof. Visitor access is improved, parapet and roofing waterproofed, and interiors refinished. Structural supports for the rooftop sculpture are reinforced.
